After receiving his associate diploma in Jazz at the Sydney Conservatorium,
Emile furthered his studies and experience in New York.
There he studied with, Lincoln Goines John Patitucci
and Fred Klatz .He also had the opportunity to play with Lennie Castro and
Charles Blenzing at the Blue note.
Since returning to Sydney Emile has played and recorded
with such diverse artists as Boney M, Jimmy Somerville(Bronski Beat,Communards)Christine
Anu, Wendy Mathews, Vanessa Amorosi, Julian Lennon, Human Nature, Kate Cebrano,
David Hasselhoff, Mig Ayesa, Marcia Hines, Glenn Shorrock, Mark Williams,
Doug Parkinson, Australian Idol Band, Eurogliders, David Campbell, Jeff
Duff, Don Burrows, James Muller trio, Rocky Horror show, Oh What a Night,
Saturday night fever, Shout, Bobby Rydell, Marty Rhone, Living with Amy,
Galapagas Duck, Fiddlers Festival, John Rowles, Marina Prior, Chad Wackermann.
Sister Sledge, George Washingmachine, Billy Field, Jackie Orczasky, Daryl
Somers, Craig Mclachlan, Cosima Deveto, Tommy Tico orchestra,Faith Prince
Jenny Teng, John Foreman amongst many others.
He has also performed clinics with jazz guitarist and
author of over 30 Mel bays music books, Corey Christianson and has taught
bass at the Australian institute of music Emile has also has written music
for many TV advertising jingles and documentaries. He also composed the
theme music played At Aussie stadium for the NRL and has played bass on
many film scores and jingles.
In 1998 Emile released his debut album ‘First up’ an original
project featuring 20 of Sydney’s leading players.
