Belgian born Martine is a very experienced entertainer
with a background in the theatre as well as the rock & roll industry.
She starred in the ABC concert series: "A Toast To Piaf" with
the QLD Symphony Orchestra. She was also featured as one of the highlights
on the Brisbane River Stage at World Expo '88 with another tribute to the
legendary French singer.
Following that she toured Australia with the Kinselas production: "The
Motown Story", also starring Mark Williams & Doug Parkinson.
She then joined Doug’s cabaret show “Let
The Good Times Roll” playing the role of Dusty Springfield and later
understudied several characters in "Leader Of The Pack" at Star
City.
She has also worked as backing vocalist and toured with many acclaimed artists
such as: Marcia Hines, Glenn Shorrock, Jon English, Vanessa Amorosi, Rick
Price, Jon Stevens, James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Joe Camilleri, Ross
Wilson, John Paul Young, Marty Rhone, Brian Ferry, Randy Crawford and the
late & much loved Ricky May.
Her TV appearances include: The Mike Walsh Show, Midday With Ray Martin,
Hey Hey It's Saturday, Today, Good Morning Australia, Late Night Australia,
Sounds, Today-Tonight, and some pop music video clips.
All this featured, live and television work is complimented by Martine's
many studio sessions, her voice being heard on T.V. and radio jingles throughout
the country.
Martine is an active energetic member of Australia's entertainment community
emerging not only as an experienced and talented singer, but also as a songwriter,
her songs beginning to attract the interest of publishers and recording
artists alike.
