Gary Daley, performer, composer, teacher, bandleader. Active in the Sydney music scene for well over 20 years. Performed in most major venues and festivals around Australia and toured overseas. Worked for some of Australia's finest artists.

Recent highlights:

2003 Tour of Japan with award winning Australian film composer Mario Millo
2004 Performance with American Trombonist John Rapson
2006 played on Daryl Aberhart's John Scofield project " The Cat
WIthin". A CD officially sanctioned by Schofield which has recieved
airplay in Europe, America and elswhere.

Own projects:

Lead the band Heavy Weather. 2000 Release" World View" , a CD of
original compositions/ arrangements recorded at ABC studios .

Perfomances at festivals Basement etc and national airplay on ABC Jazztrack.

2006 released "Psalm" CD featuring Steve Clisby. Part of a gospel
work entitled" In The Palm Of Your Hand " for choir, soloists and jazz
ensemble. This was a commissioned piece.

I have also done several commercial sessions as well as co writing the
theme for the long running SBS Tv show ,School Torque.
